Dr. Arno Fried was awarded the prestigious title of top doctor in 2016 by several publications. Dr. Fried has received these awards multiple times, as well as many other Top Doctor honors, over the past two decades.
Inside Jersey
Dr. Arno Fried was honored as an Inside Jersey Top Doctor for 2016.
Inside Jersey’s listing of top doctors is the largest of any New Jersey magazine. Their partnership with Castle Connolly Medical Ltd., the gold standard for medical ratings research, represents the most authoritative and informed assessment of doctors in the region.
Thousands of physicians and other healthcare professionals submit their surveys which ask them to identify excellent doctors in every specialty in their region.
New Jersey Monthly
Dr. Arno Fried was once again honored as a Top Doctor by New Jersey Monthly magazine. This makes the third time Dr. Fried has received this prestigious recognition. He was previously honored in 2009 and 2014.
This year’s determination was based on an independent survey from Leflein Associates (research firm). A total of 24,230 New Jersey-based doctors were invited to give their recommendations based on physicians they would choose to treat their own family members.
New Jersey Family
Dr. Arno Fried was recently named as one of NJ’s Favorite Kids’ Docs™ for 2016 under pediatric neurosurgery by New Jersey Family magazine. Dr. Fried was one out of six surgeons in the state chosen for this distinction.

Dr. Fried Appears in New York Times
These awards follow the recognition in the New York Times the year before. Dr. Arno Fried was featured in the New York Times Castle Connolly page on May 30, 2015 as a Top Doctor in the Top Surgeons category.
The doctors included were among the Top Doctors in the nation, as selected by Castle Connolly Medical Ltd. Physicians were selected based on extensive surveys of physicians nationwide and after undergoing a thorough review of credentials by Castle Connolly’s physician-led research team. Doctors cannot and do not pay to be selected as a CCML Top Doctor.
