Theresa Gabay, a highly-experienced Advanced Practice Nurse at ANA for the past 14 years, will be a presenter at the American Association of Neuroscience Nurses (AANN)’s Annual Educational Meeting which takes place in San Diego, California on March 17-20, 2018.
Gabay will present her paper, Pediatric Arteriovenous Malformation (AVM): Lightening CAN Strike Twice!, on March 20 from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. Arteriovenous malformations (AVMs) are abnormal tangles of arteries and veins and are the leading cause of hemorrhagic strokes in the pediatric population. As such, they represent a particular medical challenge.
In addition to her other credentials, Gabay is a CNRN (certified neuroscience registered nurse). She is also a previously published author in her field.
